Mileage Capture System (MCS)
Capturing the split between business and personal mileage
All fuel bought (both personal and business) will be purchased on the Arval fuel card, The driver needs to record business mileage so this can be deducted from the monthly fuel bill the employee will pay. Instead of recording this split via a paper based expense form we offer drivers the facility to log this information on-line or over the phone.
Once drivers have supplied us with the information the system uses the actual cost of the fuel purchased to calculate exactly what drivers owe for their private fuel. This is fairer and more accurate than using set pence per mile rates.
