Arval employee wins major customer service award

The FN50 dinner is one of the biggest events of the year for professionals from the fleet and automotive industries, and an Arval employee has scooped the coveted FN50 National Customer Service award at the prestigious ceremony, which took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park.

Grant Angel works in Arval’s busy Driver Contact Centre as a Customer Service Advisor. He is a consistently high performer for the company and is well respected by his team, across the business and by the numerous customers who feed back positive comments about the exceptional levels of support that he provides to them.

This positive feedback from the customers who deal with Grant means that he has been recognised several times through Arval’s own internal system of ‘cheers’ and ‘thanks’ awards. Now he has received major industry recognition as he beat strong competition from the major fleet companies to win the award.

After collecting his award, Grant commented:
“It was a great surprise to hear my name called out at the event and slightly nerve wracking to go up on stage to collect it. I try to help customers as much as I can on a daily basis because it’s my job so to have won an award for it is a fantastic bonus.”

He adds,
“My team are extremely supportive and so it was great to be able to come back to the office and show them the trophy that I received at what is a really important event for the industry that we work in.”


The FN50 Dinner is so high profile because it is organised by Fleet News, a major industry publication, and includes the official unveiling of the UK's top 50 leasing companies according to their funded fleet. The annual event is attended by key players from the fleet and leasing industries
